RIGHT FIT GUIDE: SQUARE EDITION

When purchasing a pair of sunglasses, you want to make sure not only the sunglasses look amazing but also that they are the right fit for your face. This guide will help to answer your questions about what styles fit best for your face shape and we will recommend a few of our favourite silhouettes for specific face shapes. Up next… Square!

What does it mean to have a ‘square’ face? A square face shape is characterised by a wider hairline and jawline. The width of your jaw, cheekbones and forehead are all equal. Square face shapes have angular and sharp face features.

What are the best silhouettes for ‘square’ faces? As discussed in the last ‘Right Fit Guide’ opposites attract! If you have a square face, then the shape frames for you are either round or oval silhouettes. Choose a frame that gives contrast to your strong facial features.

Try to avoid frames that are rectangular or square. Why? Adding even more angles to your strong and sharp face might make your face look too wide and rigid. Picking silhouettes with slightly curved edges will bring balance to the face.
