NAME… Nick and Val Wheatley (aka "The Wandering Wheatleys")

WE ARE… travel writers, photographers, adventurers, and big-time nerds. We've been on the road since September of 2016 - we have no house, no car, and we're living out of our suitcases! Most recently we've been exploring the Middle East. 

WE WOKE UP AT… 7:00am to scarf down our breakfast buffet and arrive to the Pyramids at opening time to beat the tour buses! 

TO START THE DAY WE… downed 4 cups of coffee to cure our wine hangovers. 

WE SPENT THE DAY WITH… camels! Snoopy, Mickey Mouse, Lazy, Daisy, and Michael Jackson to name a few.

WE EXPLORED… one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World - the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt! We got to crawl around inside of in the Great Pyramid, ride on a camel, and give kisses to the Sphinx! 

WE'll NEVER FORGET… being surrounded by 30 school children trying to touch our blonde hair and take selfies with the funny-looking, fair-skinned foreigners! 

SUNDAY'S SHOULD BE SPENT… doing the things you love with the people you love (preferably doing both while drinking mimosas!)

OUR NEXT ADVENTURE TO SOMEWHERE WILL BE… Sevierville, Tennessee (Dolly Parton's hometown) on the Wheatley family farm!
