Nagano, Japan

Located north west of Tokyo, Nagano is an ideal scene for a skiing and snowboarding escapades. Enter a world of snow and ice and encompass yourself by the Japanese Alps. After a day on the slopes, the natural hot springs are a perfect way to unwind after a glacial adventure. Don’t forget to check out some of the beautiful, snow sprinkled Buddhist temples, like the Zenko-ji which was built in the seventh century and the third largest wooden temple in Japan.
