EXPLORE THE CINQUE TERRE WITH GRACE & MILA

This region has a rich cultural heritage, the routes are dotted with historical remains, monuments and churches and towns. The coastal paths along the ridge are a jumble of colourful houses dotted with vineyards and offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

These crescent shaped beaches, bays and the pastel cliff-tops make up the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets located in Italy. This stunning backdrop was the location of the Grace & Mila lookbook shoot which featured a few of our holiday ready frames.

The Gulf of Poets required its name because it has been home to some world-famous poets such as, Lawrence Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelly and Dickens, who all found unimaginable inspiration from the deep blue sea, sun-drenched beaches and the all-natural beauty of the coastal scenery.

Cinque Terre is definitely somewhere to visit if you ever find yourself in the beautiful country of Italy. It is easy to get to as it is part of the main Italian railway line connecting Rome and Genoa. You can use this railway to travel between the villages of the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets.

While you’re here a must try on the food list is their pesto and focaccia, which this region is known for. Other local delicacies include, mussels, anchovies, extra virgin olive oil and Sciachetra wine. Once the seafood is eaten and the wine drank you can take any number of hikes along the coast or through the historic village of the Cinque Terre.
