RIGHT FIT GUIDE: ROUND EDITION
When purchasing a pair of sunglasses, you want to make sure not only the sunglasses look amazing but also that they are the right fit for your face. This guide will help to answer your questions about what styles fit best for your face shape and we will recommend a few of our favourite silhouettes for specific face shapes. First up… round!
What does it mean to have a ‘round’ face? A round face has similar width and length, your forehead and jawline are approximately the same widths, with fullness around the cheekbones, creating soft lines and a round shape.
What are the best silhouettes for ‘round’ faces? Trick of the trade is to go opposite of your face shape. For a rounder face we recommend a wider square silhouette. If you’re in the market for an aviator frame go with a square aviator style as they offer a more angular look to help balance rounder features. If a cat-eye silhouette is more your style be sure the bottom of the frame is not too round and look for a frame that has sharper, square lines. The upward curves of cat-eye silhouettes can help not only lift the cheekbones but make the face appear thinner and longer.
As a quick round up when it comes to shopping for a round face remember look for silhouettes that are square and angular as they will help balance out the round features of your face making your face look slimmer and longer.
