With the HAPPY SOCKS brand motto being “All play. No work” it was only natural for international cult eyewear brand SUNDAY SOMEWHERE to team up and create a limited edition range of sunglasses. The colourful and unique collection is a reflection of both brands dedication for living in the moment, being yourself and doing what makes you happy. Fusing their brand identities, the collections is aptly named “A Happy Sunday”.
The Swedish sock brand was created with one vision in mind, to turn a traditionally boring every day accessory into a high quality colourful item that spreads happiness. “We now wanted to add this passion for colour to a range of sunglasses” says HAPPY SOCKS founder, Viktor Tell. Each of the four unique frames are characterized by utilizing an array of colourful lenses and acetates. "We both appreciate the importance of colour and pushing creative boundaries. The collection is a tribute to these value. Let's never take life too seriously” says SUNDAY SOMEWHERE’s Creative Director, David Allison.
The campaign was shot in sunny Miami, a location that complements the collection’s colour, energy and tropical vibes. “We declare an absolute state-of-happiness for anyone who wears these frames. People wanting the usual boring colours or styles in a pair of sunglasses, the same as what everyone else would wear need not look here” says, Viktor.
